RESIDENTIAL
RATES
RURAL DOMESTIC SERVICE:
Applicable to rural domestic consumers
of the Cooperative, subject to the Cooperative's rules and regulations.
Service under this schedule is limited to individual motors up to and
including ten horsepower (10hp).
Type of service covered under this
rate is single-phase, 60 cycles, at available secondary voltage.
Rate for Bills Rendered for Usage
in June, July, August and September:
There is a fixed charge of $8.95 per
month or a fixed charge computed in accordance with the line extension
policy set forth in the rules and regulations, whichever is the
greater. In addition there is an energy charge of $0.104974 per kWh.
Rate for Bills Rendered for Usage
in October through May:
There is a fixed charge of $8.95 per
month or a fixed charge computed in accordance with the line extension
policy set forth in the rules and regulations, whichever is the
greater. In addition there is an energy charge of $0.096974 per kWh for
the first 800 kWh and a $0.091974 per kWh for all kWh above 800.
Rate for Consumers with Electric
Heat:
The consumer needs to:
1.) Have
permanently installed electric space heating equipment of 5 kw capacity
or more or an electric heat pump,
2.) Use
electricity as the sole source of space heating for the consumers use
except for energy provided by wood burning fireplaces and stoves,
3.)
Inform the cooperative in writing.
For bills rendered for usage in
November through March, all kWh in excess of 1200 kWh will be billed at
$0.076974 per kWh.
Service to consumers engaged in a
commercial enterprise at their residence will be required to have
separate meters.
Energy Adjustment Clause:
This appears on the "PCA" line on your
bill. It is usually a credit and is based on purchased power cost and
actual sales of KWH.
Recreational Area Residences and
Part-Time Occupancy Residences:
The Cooperative may require an annual
advance payment equal to twelve times the minimum monthly charge and may
require a minimum term of not to exceed three years for recreations area
residences and part-time occupancy residences.
For recreational area residences and
part-time occupancy residences, the Cooperative will read the meters at
least once during the year.
